How to get to Lausanne and The Olympic Museum?
By public transport
The recommended international airport is Geneva (GVA). Zurich (ZRH) or EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (BSL) are other options (both about 2h30).
From Geneva Airport take the train to Lausanne (45 min). Then take the Metro (subway) M2, direction Lausanne, Ouchy-Olympique. Now it’s a 10min stroll by foot, or you can take the Bus #25 and exit at the bust stop called “Musée Olympique”.
By the way, every hotel guest is given a Transport Card, entitling the holder to free public transportation in Lausanne, throughout your stay.
Check the Swiss Federal Railways webpage (SBB) for schedules: http://www.sbb.ch/en/timetable.html |
