Discover Lausanne
As Switzerland’s fourth-biggest city and capital of the Canton of Vaud, Lausanne enjoys a privileged geographical location at the centre of Europe. Situated at Lake Geneva, the biggest lake in Western Europe, surrounded by Lavaux vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a picturesque countryside with lash forests, Lausanne benefits from an enchanting backdrop with spectacular views of the Alps.
Discover the Alps!
In just about an hour you can reach Glacier 3000 (Les Diableres/Gstaad), offering cableway, architecture, adventure and Alpine mountain scenery. Already at a first glimpse appears on the summit the spectacular station on 2965 meters above see level, designed by star architect Mario Botta! A stunning panorama of 24 snow-capped 4000-metre giants reveals Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Matterhorn, Grand Combin and Mont Blanc. Breathtaking: – if you “only” enjoy some Swiss delicacies in the summit restaurant, go for a walk on the world’s first suspension footbridge, spanning two summits – the Peak Walk by Tissot – or go for an unforgettable sled dog ride!

Discover Chaplin’s World
One could well proclaim that movies such as "Limelight", "The Great Dictator" or "Modern Times" form the cultural canon of the 20th century. Equally famous is the protagonist Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin. The London-born comedian spent the last 25 years of his life on the sunny plateau above Vevey. As of spring 2016, his "Manoir de Ban" estate is open to the public. The mansion, built in 1840, and the 14-hectare park with unobstructed views of Lake Geneva provide insight into everyday life of the Chaplins. In the newly built exhibition hall, you learn more about the artistic creations of the director and actor. This is not just a Museum with original film decors or a multi-media theater – it is an entrance into a highly entertaining Charlie Chaplin experience!
